Benard Jones

Benard Jones, aged 70, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, in Beaumont, TX. He was born on May 28, 1955 in Monroe, LA to Zettie Mae Crump and Mose Jones.

He was a hard worker and a jack of all trades, dedicating his life to his craft as a mechanic. His favorite place to be was in the home he built from his bare hands, enjoying a Pepsi while sitting on his porch. Nanky never hesitated to speak his mind and always had a joke to share. While his hard working hands now rest, his legacy will live on.

Benard is survived by his children: Charles Benard Jones, Nicholas Benard Jones, Romon Stephen Jones, Jacy Nicole Jones, Autumn Danielle Jones, Layne Reese, Darian Hinkle, Chloe Jones and his brother Tony Jones. His grandchildren: Hayden Dove, Rylie Dove, Alaya Jones, Rylinn Jones, and Rowan Jones.

He is preceded in death by his parents Zettie Mae Crump and Mose Jones; his son Tyler Watkins; and siblings Ray Lee Jones, Russel Jones, Albert Jones, Willie Jean Smiley, Dianne Sanchez, Mose Jones Jr., and Mack Ivory White.
