Daminga Dee McNeil, 66, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on August 13, 2025, in Beaumont.

Born in Dallas, Texas, on August 27, 1958, she was the daughter of Don Marshall Trees and Linda Moody Graham. As a talented artist, Daminga found joy in painting, creating works that reflected not only her skill, but also her deep appreciation for the beauty around her. Her passion for nature was equally prominent in her life; she cherished her time spent fishing, where she often found tranquility in the serene surroundings. Above all, Daminga valued her family, dedicating herself to their love and support. Her warm presence and nurturing spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Daminga’s legacy will continue through the memories she created and the love she shared during her time with us. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Don Trees.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Graham of The Woodlands; her significant other, Lionel; her daughters, Amber McNeil and husband, Justin of Vidor, and Michaela Cowart and husband, Ethan of Vidor; her brothers, Craig Herman and wife, Candace of Lumberton, and Kevin Kouns ad wife, Brenda of The Woodlands; her nephew, Daniel Herman and wife, Halley of Lumberton; her nephews, Mark, and Mathew Kouns of The Woodlands; her grandson, Tyler; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
