A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Thriving House at 9401 9401 Memorial Blvd US-69, Port Arthur, TX 77640
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on October 23, 1962, he was the son of James Robin. He had a lifelong career as a petroleum inspector and was well-respected in his field. In his prime, Greg was known for being very good at his job and was familiar to most everyone who worked the river. Greg was not just a hardworking professional; he was also a true friend to all. Greg was known to all as “Uncle Greg” and he cherished that deeply. He had a heart as big as Texas and loved helping people. He never met a stranger and was known for his ability to bring joy to those around him. His silly songs and rhymes for every occasion made him a cherished companion, and his laughter was contagious. Outside of work, Greg had various hobbies and interests that he passionately pursued. He loved riding his motorcycle, cooking delicious meals, going to the movies, and gaming with his friends. He had a special talent for remembering the names of actors and movies, and he had an impressive knowledge of everything related to Marvel and DC. A proud member of Thriving House, Greg made a significant impact on everyone he met. His loving spirit and good-hearted nature will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Simple Tributes in Orange.
