James “Jimmy” Clyde Hudson, 63, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on June 24, 2025, in The Woodlands, Texas.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on November 6, 1961, he was the son of Clyde Hudson II and Sara Orena Hudson. He is remembered as a loving individual who embraced life with enthusiasm and a spirit of adventure. Jimmy had many passions that brought joy not only to himself but also to those around him. He found great pleasure in motorcycle riding, often exploring the open roads and enjoying the freedom of the ride. His love for fishing and boating reflected his appreciation for nature and the serene beauty of the water. Whether casting a line or navigating the waves, he cherished the moments spent outdoors. Additionally, Jimmy was skilled in mechanic work, embracing the challenges of repairing and maintaining vehicles with a hands-on approach that showcased his talents. Throughout his life, Jimmy's vibrant personality left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by friends and family alike. As they reflect upon his life, they will remember a man who lived fully and passionately, always eager for the next adventure.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Sara Hudson II; and his siblings, Casey Arredondo II, and Sylvia Ramirez.

He is survived by his son, James “Ray” Turner and wife, April; his grandchildren, Blake Pierce, Hillary Turner, and Paisley Turner; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
