 Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday September 28, 2024, at Paradise Baptist Church in Port Athur, Tx. 

Mary Ann Thibodeaux was born on November 26, 1942, in Rayne, Louisiana, to Georgiana and Clarence Thibodeaux. As a young adult, she relocated from Rayne to Port Arthur, Texas, where she built a life as a devoted mother, raising her six children. After many years of dedicated service at both Texas State Optical and Nederland Nursing Home , Mary Ann Thibodeaux eventually retired. Mary Ann Thibodeaux found joy in activities such as fishing, camping, and hunting. She also loved visiting beaches, going on cruises, and traveling. Her passion for cooking was well known, but what she cherished most was spending time with her family and friends, whom she loved dearly. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and strength. Mary Ann Thibodeaux is proceeded in death by her mother Georgiana Thibodeaux, her father Clarence, Thibodeaux, two daughters Sandra Alexis, Charlene Hamilton, and two brothers Morris Thibodeaux and James Clarence Thibodeaux. Surviving children Lawrence Thibodeaux of Houston, Texas, Dethra Moore of port Arthur Texas, Alice White-(Nathan) of Rentz Georgia, Wilbert Hamilton of Port Arthur, Texas. 3 sisters: Loyce Randle of Port Arthur, Texas, Georgiana Thibodeaux Levi- (Wendell) of Lafayette Louisiana, Wendy Thibodeaux Gomez of Port Arthur, Texas. 14 Grandkids 23 Great-grand kids A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 1 close and dear friend of 19 years-Phyllis Fipps of Houston, Texas. A special thank you goes out to Lasandra Hamilton and Brendon Chillow, who stepped up with love and dedication to care for Mary Ann Thibodeaux until her passing. Your selfless support and kindness during her final days will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
