Milton Alan Maynard, Jr. 63, of Silsbee, Texas passed away on August 7, 2025.

Born in Houston, Texas, on January 13, 1962, he was the son of Milton Alan Maynard, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Laird) Langston. Throughout his life, Milton dedicated himself to the craft of welding, a profession he pursued until his well-deserved retirement. His skill and dedication in this field were a testament to his hardworking nature.

Milton was not just known for his professional life; he was also a man of immense character and humor. With a personality that encompassed comical antics, tough love, and an innate ability to make those around him laugh, he left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Friends and family alike cherished his jovial spirit and appreciated the joy he brought to gatherings with his quick wit and playful jests.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, Milton found great pleasure in fishing and hunting, where he spent countless hours immersed in nature. He was also a passionate supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, sharing his enthusiasm for the team with family and friends. Milton took pride in attending his nephews’ sporting events, cheering them on with fervor and encouraging them to pursue their passions. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton Maynard, Sr., Patricia Langston, and Rufus Gibson; brother, Anthony “Tony” Gibson; sister, Sherry Page; and his great-nephew, Tucker Herridge.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Matthew Clamon and wife Caitlyn; grandchildren, Gage Clamon and Gavin Clamon; sister, Lori Parker and husband Leroy; and his best friend, Eugene Holt; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
