Rosemary McClanahan, 70, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on September 10, 2025, in Beaumont.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on March 3, 1955, she was the daughter of Felix R. Hebert and Nettie Lucille Landry Hebert. Rosemary was known for her incredible cooking skills. Family gatherings were always anticipated as delicious meals were prepared with love and care. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, creating dishes that brought everyone together. As a wonderful mother and grandmother, Rosemary devoted herself to her family. She had a special fondness for her daughter's dog, often sneaking tasty snacks to her furry friend. Rosemary's love for her family shone brightly in everything she did, and her home was filled with warmth and affection. Beyond her love for family, Rosemary enjoyed shopping and spending moments going out with those dear to her. She valued the times spent with loved ones and created memories that will be cherished forever. Her legacy of love, kindness, and delicious cooking will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Nettie Hebert; her brother, Eddie Istre; her sisters, Deborah Istre-Guillot, and Lucille Casey; her nephews, Billy Cogar, and Jeremy Cogar; and her great niece, Jayla Cogar.
She is survived by her daughters, Ashley McClanahan, Julie Anderson, and Melissa Estrello; her grandchildren, Cymber Phillips, Nikki Anderson, Bethany Anderson, and Jaxon Anderson; her great-grandchildren, Aliza Reamy, Mylan Wortham, and Eli Wortham; her sister, Louise Hebert; her brother, Felix Hebert; her beloved dog, Mango; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
