Todd Fletcher, 64, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on January 9, 2026.
Todd was born on February 17, 1961 in Harrison, Arkansas and moved to Nederland at the age of six.
From the moment his two sons Bryan and Jamey were born, Todd’s only focus was to spend every minute with them. He was a fun-loving, devoted daddy and his boys were his whole world, acting silly with them and getting the three of them into all kinds of mischief. He was a professional prankster and was always happy and smiling. He was happiest when he, Ann and the boys were all together, whether they were all venturing out on a wild excursion he had schemed up or just simply sitting by the camp fire. Todd also thoroughly enjoyed every second of every baseball season. He never missed a practice or game and never tired of practicing with the boys after work and on weekends. He was so very fond of the memories of those 15 plus years on the ball field.
Todd loved the outdoors and was an excellent hunter and fisherman. He spent many years teaching his boys everything there was to know about hunting and fishing. Todd still had his beloved 1990 red Bayhawk boat he won at a saltwater fishing tournament. In the past, he was a proficient water skier and still had his 1981 silver Concord professional ski boat. Evident in his love for lifted trucks, he was an expert in every aspect of lifting them and taught many friends all that he knew. In his younger days, he lived for mudding. He and his famous Blazer were always ready anytime, day or night to help out anyone that had become buried in the mud.
Todd was extremely skilled and meticulous in his work as an electrician and was an excellent trouble shooter, wearing many hats in his line of work. He was a multi-talented guy and completed any type of job or project at work and at home with excellence.
Having a very compassionate heart, Todd truly loved and cared for his boys and all of their friends and genuinely enjoyed and cherished every second he spent with Bryan, Jamey and Blake, Zak, Stanton, Jace, Gavin, Kippy, Tristan, Cade and so many other good kiddos that spent time at his home. He never once in all of those years told them to quiet down because he had to wake up early to go to work the next day. He would leave the next morning for work with a smile, seeing that as he was leaving, Ann and the boys were just then going to sleep. He was a great provider and was always happy that Ann was at home with his boys.
Todd was kind and had a great love for all animals. Over the years he, Ann and the boys rescued and rehabbed many dogs, birds, squirrels, snakes, raccoons, possums, etc. All of us always spoiling them and giving them the very best, cushy indoor home imaginable. He loved his dogs with all of his heart and so enjoyed spending all of his time with them curled up on his lap and loved sharing his pillow with them.
Todd is survived by his wife Ann Shearer Fletcher, his son Bryan Todd Fletcher, his son Jamey Klark Fletcher, Britkne, Kamdyn and Oliver. His nephew Hunter Fletcher and family members, Phyllis, Jodi, Amer, Camden, Peyton, Brennan and Rhode.
