Donna Ann Goynes, aged 60, passed away on September 2, 2024, in Orange, Texas.
Born in Victoria, Texas, she spent her life spreading joy and warmth to those around her.Donna was known for her ever-present smile and laughter, bringing light into the lives of her family and friends. She loved her church, Bridge City Baptist Church, and she dedicated much of her time to church activities. A passionate baker, Donna is fondly remembered for her elaborate cookie preparations each Christmas, a tradition that brought much delight to all who tasted her creations. Her hobbies included reading, which she found to be a peaceful escape.
She leaves behind her brother, Dan Goynes, and his wife Denisa; her brother, Tom Goynes, and his wife Jeanine; her niece, Amanda Goynes; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Donna was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Earline and Donald Goynes.
The services to honor and celebrate her life will be held at Crescent Valley Cemetery, 6555-6701 Farm to Market Rd 404, Victoria, Texas, on October 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Simple Tributes Claybar in Orange, Texas, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Donna's memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her, as a beacon of happiness and familial love.
