Margaret Ruth Knost Dornak
Margaret Ruth Knost Dornak was born on April 20, 1941, and passed peacefully at home on March 31, 2025. She retired from JC Penny in 2005 after almost 30 years of service, and went to volunteer at various charities, as well as taking care of her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Dornak; her parents, Edward and Lillian Knost; and her brother, Jimmy Knost.
She is survived by her brothers, Greg Knost and Jo of Vidor, and Robert Knost and Sharyn of Kilgore; her daughters, Vanessa Kilmer of Vidor, and Leslie Bielecki and Tony of Evadale; four grandchildren, Steven Bielecki and Heidi of Columbus, Ohio, Derik Kilmer and Kaitlyn of Vidor, Joey Kilmer of Vidor, and Sierra Thibodeaux and Dylan of Winnie; two great grandchildren, Augustus Thibodeaux and Allison Kilmer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved by all and will be surely missed.
In lieu of funeral service there will be a celebration of life announced at a later date.
