Matthew Todd Wright passed away on January 25th, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on November 12, 1979, in Nederland, Texas, to Tom and Beth Wright, Todd was a beloved son, father, brother and friend.

Todd had a passion for barbequing and cooking crawfish, often bringing joy to his friends and family through his culinary skills. The love of his life was his son, Gavin, who he cherished deeply. Todd's two Boxer dogs, both with special needs, held a special place in his heart, and he adopted them to provide the care they needed.

A self-taught computer whiz, Todd was known as everyone's go-to IT guy. His love for all genres of music was well-known. Todd's quick wit and great sense of humor were legendary; he had an uncanny ability to make everyone laugh, often leaving a room in stitches with his clever jokes and playful banter.

Todd is survived by his son, Gavin Wright; his mother and pops, Beth and Rick Hicks; his sister, Tara Wright Calloway; his brothers, Mike Wright and Bryan Wright; and several nieces, nephews, and aunts who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Wright.
