Megan Elizabeth Gomez

Megan Elizabeth Gomez, born August 28, 1985, in Nederland, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at 3:00 a.m., with her devoted daughter, Temperance Michelle Gomez, lovingly by her side.

Megan was a warm-hearted young soul whose gentle spirit and radiant smile could light up any room she entered. She spent her life in her hometown of Nederland, Texas, surrounded by family, and friends she deeply cherished. Megan had a gift for making everyone feel seen and welcome she truly never met a stranger. Her sense of humor, paired with her loving nature, brought joy and laughter to those fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Temperance Michelle Gomez, her loving father, Jim Martin, and her brothers, Logan Martin and DJ Higgins, along with their families. Megan was preceded in death by loved ones who no doubt welcomed her home with open arms.

Her time on this earth was far too short, but her kindness, light, and laughter will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved most.

A private service will be held for family and close friends to celebrate and honor Megan’s beautiful life.
