Nelda Ruth Green Erwin

Nelda Green Erwin, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength.

Born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas, Nelda graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and Lamar University. Nelda was a longtime employee of Dupont in Nederland. 

Nelda was preceded in death by her dear sister, Norma and George Holbrook and their son John Robert.

She is survived by her loving family: Lee and Dana Bryant, John and Tracey Erwin, and her cherished grandchildren—Logan and wife Carly, Emily, and Sam —who brought immense joy and pride into her life.

A celebration of Nelda’s life will take place at a later date.
