Norman Milstead

Norman Milstead, 83, died on October 12, 2024. Our Lord took Norman home to be with his family. 

He is survived by his wife, Judith Milstead; sister, Lorita Huckaby; son, Bryan Milstead; and numerous nieces, nephews, and families.

Norman was preceded in death by two sons, Rex and Curtis Milstead; grandson, Adrian Milstead; his father and mother, Willie and Dosia Milstead; brothers, Marvin Milstead and wife, Carole, Kenneth Milstead and wife, Linda, and J.D Milstead.

There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 6:00 PM, at Faith Baptist Church, 490 Grand St., Vidor.

Norman retired from Optimus Steel Mill with 28 years of service. His love of golf, baseball (Astros), and football (Dallas Cowboys) was something he always was ready to talk about with everyone. He had a big love of music and was a very accomplished musician, from his own country western band to Christian music services. Most of all, he was devoted to his family and friends and will truly be missed by everyone.
