Obituary

Patrick C. “Pop” Gillard, 84, of Beaumont was born May 20, 1931 in Welsh, LA and passed away Dec. 5, 2015 in Beaumont. A US Army Veteran of Korea, Pat was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church and a retired machinist with Texas Metal Works.

He is survived by his wife, Nell Gillard of Beaumont; sons, Donald Gillard of Mauriceville and Philip Gillard of McKinney; daughter, Kay Touchet of Fannett; 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, Jennifer and Shannon; and one great-grandson, Joseph Anthony.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Amedine Gillard; sisters, Margurite and Yvonne; and brothers, George and Michael.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m.
