Shannon Del Somers 45, died March 9, 2025. He was born December 6, 1979 to Linda Williamson Somers, and Clyde Franklin Somers, Sr. He was a natural born mechanic and worked on cars most all his life. Shannon loved fast cars, and mudding down the back roads. He loved making people happy, and would give the last penny he had if someone needed it. Most of all he loved his family.
Shannon battled and overcame cancer at the age of 5 going through chemotherapy, and surgeries causing him to have health problems for most of his life. He was granted a wish through My Wish Incorporated because he was not expected to live through the cancer he had.
He loved to cook with his food always having lots of flavor. You HAD to try it even if you didn't want to! And it was always pretty darn good.
Shannon loved seeing people smiling and happy. He lived his life the way he wanted and made many lifelong friendships. Shannon definitely touched the lives of many on many levels.
Survivors include his wife Kenetha Marie Somers; daughters, Hannah Malone and Heaven Malone; son, Rowdy Jax Malone; brother, Clyde Somers Jr and wife Karla; sisters Sandra Somers, and her husband Jimmie; Krsti Williamson Mejia; nephews Bradley Davis and Chase Somers and his wife Alana; nieces Kasee Rae Somers, and Leslie Davis; many aunts, uncles, and great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
