Theresa Michelle Sherer, also known as Salena, was born on February 25, 1982, in Orange, Texas. She peacefully passed away on July 29, 2024. Theresa had a vibrant spirit and lived life to the fullest.

 

Theresa had a deep passion for various hobbies. She enjoyed fishing, finding solace in walks on the beach right after a storm, collecting seashells, and horseback riding. Her love for the outdoors and nature was evident in her favorite pastimes.

 

Crawfish was Theresa's favorite food, and she relished every opportunity to indulge in this delicious treat. Additionally, she shared a special bond with her mother, as they used to train horses together.

 

Nothing brought Theresa more joy than driving her green Jeep. It was her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment behind the wheel. Her favorite place in the world was anywhere she could catch fish, finding peace and tranquility in those moments.

 

Theresa had a love for sports, with softball being her favorite. She always found pleasure in watching the game.

 

Theresa is survived by her children: Michala MacKenzie of Nome, Mary Lassiter of Nome, Charlene Davis of Beaumont, and Byron Kakey Davis of Beaumont. She also had a beloved grandchild named Lynnox MacKenzie. Theresa's close family members include her siblings: Joy Sherer, Anna Branham, Tesha Dale, Meagan Bravell, Stormie Arceneaux, Rachel Garza, and Jeff LaPoint. Theresa is reunited with her mother Sandra Sherer, father Michael Sherer and sister Jeanne Branham. 

 

One of Theresa's defining traits was her drive to help others. She continually put the needs of others before her own, showing unwavering care and compassion.

 

Theresa Michelle Sherer will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.

Sister you and I have so many memories, I know you are peace now . We became neighbors in 1990. I was delighted at her nature to be a free spirit. Wind blowing her hair back, whether it be riding a 4wheeler, or a horse.Her twinkly eyes bespoke her Her thirst for adventure and life. RIP. Condolences to family and friends.
