Obituary
Vivian Ann Gibbs, 74, passed away October 29, 2016 in Beaumont, Texas. She was born December 3, 1941 in Beaumont to Tommy Lee and Mable (Johnson) Gibbs. Ms. Gibbs was a veteran of the US Army.
A service celebrating her life will be held at Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont at 11: 00 a.m. November 9, 2016 with burial to follow at 2:15 p.m. in the Houston National Cemetery.
Ms. Gibbs is survived by her daughters, Mary Elizabeth Nix, Lisa Kathleen Gibbs, Tamara Larae Gibbs; son, Mark Jackson,; grandchildren, Barry Nix, Jr., Isaac Nix, Isaiah Nix, Lena Louise Gibbs, Quintin Lee Gibbs, Precious Green, Random Everett Lowe, Tameka Jones, Zakeya Johnson-Rowe, Mark Jackson, Jr.; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Lee Johnson; sisters, Patsy Ruth Johnson and Lena Rose Williams and many friends.

I thank everyone who brought a smile to my mother's face and joy to her heart. I will definitely miss her laughter and her demonstrations of love and kindness and her generosity. She was a great pianist. I loved to watch her as she played the piano and sang.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will continue to pray for the family. May God bless you and keep you. Think on the memories. She is a beautiful angel and I would like to think that she has been introduced to my mother and they are smiling down on us saying continue to live for God and we will meet again!
