Yvonne "Bonnie" Nepveux

Yvonne “Bonnie” Nepveux, 73, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on January 4, 2026, in Beaumont.

Bonnie was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on March 13, 1952 to Hilario Munoz and Emilia Orozco Munoz. Until her disabling illness at the age of 33, Bonnie exhibited a remarkable zest for life. She was a dynamic individual who was not only business savvy but also a jack of all trades, embracing every opportunity to connect with the people around her. Bonnie's creativity knew no bounds; she found joy in a variety of pursuits that showcased her talents and passions. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing, creating beautiful and intricate pieces that brought warmth to her loved ones. Her artistic spirit also flourished through painting, and Bonnie's culinary skills were equally impressive, as she loved cooking for and hosting parties for family and friends. She had a beautiful singing voice that was carried down through to her daughters, blessing them both with her musical gifts. Even as she faced the challenges brought on by her illness, Bonnie remained an embodiment of strength and grace. Her unwavering love for God, her family, and her friends illuminated her path and inspired those around her. As we remember Bonnie, we celebrate a life filled with faith, love, and resilience. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Emilia and George Ubl; and her father, Hilario Munoz.

She is survived by her daughters, Heather Kugler and Sherri Anderson; her sisters, Roxanne Angelle, and Rebecca Askew; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Simple Tributes in Orange.

I don't remember Bonnie before her illness, but afterwards she was a free spirit who lived life like she had gotten a second chance. She was there for me in my teen years when Noone else was. I remember she loved Casa Ole! We ate there all the time! We'd go walk the mall almost daily. She even helped me get my 1st job there. I'll never forget her, she'll always hold a special place in my heart. I hope they have Casa Ole and Ducky waiting for you in Heaven Momma. Rest Easy, til we meet again. ♥️
